Abstract

Public relations is one of the function as an element of leadership, its function is to foster a good and
harmonious relationship between internal and external public in growing participation and motivation to
the public. Bank Indonesia is the central bank of the Republic Indonesia that plays a crucial role in
regulating the Indonesian economy, Bank Indonesia is the holder of authority to control the amount of
money in Indonesia, public relations strategy of Bank Indonesia representative office in West Java province
by carrying out education to the public aimed at the public knowing the role and duties of Bank Indonesia
and providing a good image of the company to the public, In the implementation of public relations
strategies there is a number of activities such as making media monitoring, writing real press or breaking
news and covering the internal and external activities of the company that will be uploaded to the social
media Bank Indonesia West Java province. The public relations of the Bank Indonesia representative office
in West Java province to experiencing technical and non-technical obstacles during the process of education
public, this obstacles can be overcome with a solution to any existing problem.
