Abstract

GHOZI RABBANI. Development of Web-Based Digital Division Profile at
PT. Solusi Bangun Indonesia. Supervised by SRI NURDIATI.
PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia (SBI) or commonly known as Holcim is a
company engaged in cement production. In carrying out its business processes, PT
SBI has several divisions, one of which is the Community Relations (ComRel)
division. This division has the main task of carrying out social responsibility to the
surrounding community. Every year, the ComRel division makes a magazine that
holds all information about the activities that have been carried out. However, the
use of this magazine was considered ineffective and inefficient because division
employees had difficulty in designing the magazine and the division needed time to
provide information to the public.
With this Digital Division Profile website, it is expected to provide
convenience for the ComRell division in delivering information to the public. This
website can provide information about divisions, program activities and
cooperatives under the auspices of PT SBI's ComRell division.
The Development of Digital Division Profile website involves two main users
which are the admin and the reader. Admin itself is broken down into four parts,
namely admin master, general, program and cooperative, each admin role has
certain limitations to access features on the website. This website system has
functions to log in, manage division information, manage website design, manage
program activity data, manage cooperative data, record admin activity, and send emails automatically to divisions. The method used in making a website is the
prototyping method. This method is used to define the needs that are not clear at
the beginning and accelerate the system design.
Digital Division Website This profile does not rule out the possibility to be
developed with the addition of other more complex functions.
