Abstract
Newspapers besides loading news also have advertisements. one type of advertising in newspapers is
advertorial advertising. Advertorial advertising is an ad whose presentation is similar to news, so that it
can provide products, services, or publications in more detail and readers see it as news written by
journalists as usual. Radar Bogor newspaper has a division that offers and makes advertisements, namely
the Advertising Department. The process of making an advertorial ad consists of five stages including the
stage of exploration cooperation with the client, preparation, material collection, manufacturing and
publishing stage. when creating advertorial ads, of course staff will face some obstacles. These barriers are
technical barriers, which consist of inadequate facilities and the amount of equipment, slow internet
networks and slow computer operating systems. Non-technical barriers consisting of miscommunication,
and lack of human resources. This obstacle can be done by utilizing improvisation facilities and improving
the quality of human resources at Radar Bogor.
