Abstract

Television becomes the mass media that has the most influence on it because it has several advantages. The process of producing news on television is carried out by a production team that is an exclusive producer, producer, and associate producer. Communication process between Associate Producer and Producer is using interpersonal communication. The role of the Associate Producer in the production process includes several stages. In the pre-production process consists of fill in the program rundown, inserting video IDs, searching sport news, searching sport news video, make a news script, send video to editor, make news leads for presenter, input Character Generic (CG), and Preview. Production consisting of Operate Telepromter. The final stage. Post-Production includes Evaluating and Meetings. The Production Process is not always running smoothly, also found some obstacles during the manufacturing process but can be handled well. The production process can run well if communication is established properly.
