Abstract

Electronic Program Guide (EPG) is a channel selection device that is an important navigation tool for viewers to search for specific programs based on other themes or categories and order them for approval. EPG has a purpose, many functions, and features that help viewers watch television. EPG consists of 5 stages consisting of data collected, the format for making the EPG schedule, the format for sending the division head, the data for sending to clients and the making database. The tools that must be prepared in making EPG are computers, headphones, microsoft excel. The obstacles that hinder the process of making EPG in the IEG channel are technical and non-technical obstacles. This obstacle can be overcome by using a solution for every problem that exists.
