The function of public relations practitioners as a bridge between companies or organizations and the public makes practitioners need the media to disseminate information optimally, using social media. In the digital age, social media is becoming an important part of life. Social media has become a medium of communication in various parts of the world, quickly and without space and time. The abilities of social media to provide information on activities or events, photos, videos, and opinion is an attraction for the public. This study aims to describe the use of social media by public relations practitioners at the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Center. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach that is descriptive. Furthermore, the results of the study will explain the public relations practitioner's knowledge about social media and how to optimize the use of social media that has been running so far, so that practitioners can perform their public relations communication functions properly.
