Abstract

Public Relations is a practitioner who helps anybody to build communication and disseminate information about the publication of activities carried out by an institution to the public. Public relations has an important role in carrying out various approaches to influence public attitudes and opinions regarding the interests of the government and the public. The existence of Public Relations at the Local Parliament (DPRD) of Bogor Regency Secretariat assists institutions in disseminating information about policies and activities carried out by the government and then packaged through the writing of press releases. Good ability in communication and writing press releases will determine a positive image in the community towards an institution, therefore in making press releases will go through several steps so that the information conveyed can be easily understood and attracts the attention of the public.
