Abstract

The development of technology is very sophisticated and highly rapid. It makes journalism growing through the internet. Now it is known as online media. The presence of online media become a trigger to the appearance of online news portal, one of them is Okezone.com. The purpose of this final assignment is to explain the role of reporter and the process of the news production on lifestyle canal Okezone.com, and to find out the obstacles and solutions in the process of the news production on Okezone.com. The process of the news production on Okezone.com goes through several stages, starting from the pre-production, production, and post-production. Obstacles happen when author doing the process of production, includes technical and non-technical obstacles. This final project has a solution that can overcome technical and non-technical problems.
