Abstract

NADA VIOLLA CLASSIC. Hatchery and Enlargement of Gourami Osphronemus gouramy at the Southern Region Marine and Fisheries Service Branch (CDKPWS) Tasikmalaya, West Java. Supervised by MUNTI YUHANA.
The hatchery activities consist of rearing broodstock, spawning broodstock, harvesting eggs, rearing larvae and seeds, feeding, managing water quality, preventing pests and diseases and harvesting seeds. Enlargement activities carried out in concrete ponds include preparation of containers, stocking of seeds, feeding, measurement of water quality, prevention and eradication of fish diseases, harvesting and postharvest handling. Analysis of gourami hatchery business at CDKPWS Tasikmalaya West Java, the size of 1 – 2 cm or the size of cucumber seeds with the selling price of seeds 1 – 2 cm in size of Rp. 250 tails-1 received as much as Rp. 611 061 626, R/C Ratio 1.48, Payback Period (PP) of 1.44 years or 1 year 5 months. The activity of enlargement the size of the average weight of ± 700 g is sold at a price of Rp. 45 000 kg-1 received Rp. 555 984 000, R/C Ratio of 1.68, Payback Period (PP) of 1.29 years or 1 year 4 months.
