Abstract

GOVINDA REZKI HARAHAP. Harvesting of Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) at Panjie Teluk Estate PT Supra Matra Abadi, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency, North Sumatra. Supervised by Restu Puji Mumpuni
Internship (PKL) at Teluk Panjie Estate, namely to obtain knowledge and experience in the field of managing oil palm plantations technically and managerially and as a capital to enter the workforce. Internship (PKL) for the writer is increasing knowledge and skills in the processing of oil palm plantations from technical and managerial aspects, especially in the aspect of harvesting oil palm. The technical aspect of harvesting is harvest preparation. harvesting system, harvest section, Harvest rotation, harvest maturity criteria, harvest density, harvest process, protective equipment, harvesting equipment, harvest control, harvest fines and harvesting bases. Harvest preparation activities at Panjie Teluk Estate run well but in monitoring activities The harvest control rate is still lacking due to the large amount of loose fruit that lives on the disk, the raw fruit is cut off causing a lot of loss losses.
