Abstract
A.M NAWAWI DONGORAN. Cacao Propagation Used Side Grafting on Kendeng Lembu Farm, PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII, Banyuwangi, East Java Supervised by AGIEF JULIO PRATAMA.
Cocoa is one of the plantation commodities that has many interested parties. Propagation of cocoa using the side grafting method is one of the activities to increase the number of cacao seedlings ready to be distributed. The aim of Field Work Practices (PKL) is to improve technical skills in cultivating cocoa plants, observe and learn the side grafting propagation of cocoa. PKL activities were carried out at the Kendeng Lembu Farm, PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII, Banyuwangi, East Java for 3 months (February-May 2019). Propagation of cocoa plants by the side grafting methods uses two treatments, namely control using 3 eyes and P1 using 5 eyes. The percentage of success of cocoa side grafting is low at 22.8% - 37.5%, so multiplication by the cocoa side grafting method is not recommended.
