Abstract

KHALISSA FATHIN ANSHARI. Evaluation of PPE Usage in Nutrition
Installation of Bogor PMI Hospital, Supervised by ANNISSA RIZKIRIANI.
Nutrition Installation Bogor PMI Hospital is a place for organizing food
and food services. The Nutrition Installation of the Bogor Red Cross Hospital plays
a role in providing a large and varied amount of food to support the physiological
needs of the patient. Therefore, given the importance of using PPE in the operation
of food in the hospital to reduce the occurrence of cross contamination from food
handlers that are processed and served as well as to reduce the risk of work
accidents. It is necessary to evaluate the use of PPE at the food court at the
Nutrition Installation of the Bogor PMI Hospital. The method used in data
collection is by direct observation and participation as well as archives from the
Nutrition Installation of Bogor PMI Hospital. Data collection was carried out at
the Nutrition Installation of Bogor PMI Hospital on 6 August to 30 September 2019.
Understanding the use of PPE in food handlers is divided into the first 3 factors,
namely based on factors of education, age and knowledge. In knowledge there are
3 levels of the first to know, that is, someone already knows based on experience
and knowledge that is acquired. Then the second is understanding, that is, when
someone already knows an object or concept, it will understand and understand
that object. Then the last is the application that is When someone already knows
and understands an object or concept, it will be put into practice in their daily lives.
